I couldn't be more impressed with the service we received from Hudson Valley Dog Fence. Jason installed our new dog fence quickly and efficiently, but what really set the service apart was the amount of time he took in explaining all aspects of the new system. He was able to help us customize the system so it fit perfectly with our property and our dogs. I had actually bought a system to install myself but just couldn't find the time to do it. I'm glad I choose to go with Jason - it seems like the quality of his equipment is a step up from what I purchased on Amazon. The wire alone was a much heavier grade and I think will last much longer than the brand we purchased.
Not only did he explain every detail of how the system worked, but he also patiently walked us through how to use it, maintain it and helped us with an initial training with the dogs. I can’t recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for a high-quality, professional dog fence installation.
Jason was great from installing the fence to giving us and our dogs a thorough training session before he left. Diesel and Kota love having the freedom to run the entire yard. Now we get to spend more time with them as they can be outside with us and our kids! I have already recommended Jason to friends that are also very happy! Jason is very professional and friendly. We have had our fence a little over 2 months, and it has changed our lives! After installation, Jason thoroughly trained US on how to train our 80lb dog Otis. We followed all of his steps which are so easy and straight forward that even our young kids got involved. Took 2 weeks.. We have a 2 year old pit bull who used to love to roam our woods, get stung by wasp nests, find dead animals, get swamp muddy, and go visit neighbors. Always came home, but took his time. No longer! During the training period, Jason follows up to make sure everything is going well. While we didn't need him to return to adjust collar , it was good to check in, ask questions and adjust training as needed.We had 2 acres fenced in. The freedom and piece of mind we were given has been a family game changer. Otis is happier too having clear boundaries. I was worried the fence would change my dog, make him scared, it has changed him for the better. He's much calmer and relaxed. I have seen him tear after a squirrel and make a complete stop and turn around at the boundary. I had my husband test collar, which worked for Otis on a level 5 out of 10 setting, and fence he confirmed it is shocking but not painful. Yes I'd hurt my husband before my dog! Go with this company. Best value, best customer service. Very happy!! Update: 2 years in fence and collar working well. We had an issue when the neighbors dug and broke the fence. Though Jason was more than willing to come out and fix it, my husband is a diy so Jason guided him easily through the repair and followed up to ensure Otis stays safe on our property.
